Lillian C. Petrie BOSSIER CITY, LA Services for Mrs. Lillian C. Petrie, 81, were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 1991 at Boone Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating was Rev.

Siegfried Kunz, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Bossier City. Mrs. Petrie, a homemaker, died Wednesday, August 28, 1991 at her residence. She was born in Tav-lorville, III. and was a resident of Bossier City.

Mrs. Petrie was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, New Comers Club of Shreveport and AARP. Survivors include her husband, Frank L. Petrie; one son, Frank L. Petrie Jr.

and daughter-in-law, Carol two grandchildren, Frank L. Petrie III and granddaughter-in-law. Amy, and Patricia Ann Petrie. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Lee. Mr.

Clarence Irwin Pitts SHREVEPORT, LA Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Irwin Pitts, 66, was held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 1991 at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Johnny Baker of Southside Baptist Church. Burial was at Forest Park West Cemetery.

After moving to Shreveport in 1961, Mr. Pitts built, raced and repaired cars, sold auto parts, and was a service manager for Goodvear and Woody's Motor Supply. He left our earthly home and went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, August 24, 1991. Interment was at Forest Park Cemetery on St. Vincent Avenue. Mr. Hardwick entered into rest August 27, 1991 at Highland Hospital after a short Illness. He was a native of Shreveport born on July 16, 1922.

He served in the United States Air Force during World War 1 1 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mr. Hardwick retired from South Central Bell Telephone in 1981 as staff manager in New Orleans after working for the company for 40 years. He is survived bv his wife, Dorothy Downing Hardwick of Shreveport, two sons, Julian W. Hardwick and his wife, Roberta of Metairle, Robert D.

He served In the U. S. Coast Guard during World War II, was a member of Broadmoor Assembly of God Church, and was a mason. He was preceded in death bv his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Stavton E. Oliver; five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Alice Nicholson Oliver, Shreveport; daughter, Lisa O. Bartlett, Shreveport; son, Kenneth E. Oliver, Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Roberts died Saturday, August 24, 1991 at 3 a.m. at Schumbert Medical Center. He was a native of Quentin, Miss, and had been a resident of Natchitoches for the past 45 years.

Mr. Robert got his start in the lumber business in Quentin, Miss, before World War II. After serving in World War II with the U.S. Air Force, he came to Louisiana where he started his own timber business in 1955 and later started his own hardwood lumber business. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church In Natchitoches and was very active In community and non-profit organizations.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Maxlne Roberts of Natchitoches; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Joe Bernard of Natchitoches and Kathy and Andy Jenkins of Marthavllle; granddaughter and grand son-in-law, Jennifer and Brian Olllff of Natchitoches; other grand children, Justin and Taylor Bernard, both of Natchitoches, and Allison Jenkins of Marthavllle; one sister, Lillie Mae Moak of Brookhaven, two brothers, Neal Roberts of Bude, Miss, and Clyde Roberts of Biloxi, Miss. Dr. Joseph Edward Knighton and Mattie Faye Duke Knighton, two brothers and a sister. Educated in the public schools in Shreveport, Mrs. Annan received her degree in voice and music from Centenary College in 1932. While at Centenary College, she was a member of the College's first choir, the Maroon Jackets and Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.

She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, the Cotillion Club, and the Junior League of Shreveport. She held life memberships In The Shreveport Symphony and The Shreveport Civic Opera Association. Survivors include her husband, Paul G. Annan; daughter, Martha Cooper and her husband, The Reverend Robert K.
