Sunday Feature: Wellington Retro Bowl will have a new look with an old-time feel

June 30, 2024 Cueball

The new Wellington Retro Bowl owners are Aaron Parris and Rob Natho.

Bill Day.

By Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — The first thing that strikes you (pun intended) when you walk into the bowling alley formerly known as Meadow Lanes is the new Star Shields that grace the back end of the lanes.

Flashing with a new multi-colored LED lighted display, the Star Shields harkens to a time when bowling alleys were the king form of entertainment.

Meadow Lanes have been sold to Aaron Parrish and Rob Natho. They have renamed the bowling alley “Wellington Retro Bowl.” They hope to open it sometime in mid-July.

The great thing about the ownership change is that longtime bowling owner Bill Day will still act as the general manager. On Facebook, he made this announcement last week:

Wellington Retro Bowl will have a new look with an old-time feel. The two owners wanted to make the alley vintage-like. Thus came the name “Retro.”
