Ireland’s largest gardening festival returns to the Phoenix Park this summer with a variety of events for all ages from May 30-June 3.

For those that are not so keen on horticulture, there is plenty of time for some retail therapy with a huge variety of retail shops dotted throughout the area. The DCCI Irish Craft Village returns,bringing some of Ireland’s most talented craftspeople together to showcase their products in a charming village of approximately 38 tents

The Indoor Shopping Pavilion offers over 100 exhibitors offering a wide selection of products and services from home furnishings to holiday getaways and much more.

‘Come From Away’makes debut at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre next month

After a successful opening in the Abbey Theatre in Dublin, Come from Away opened on the Westend to full houses. The cast are making their return to Ireland to stage this wonderful masterpiece at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin from June 11-24.

A remarkable true story, of the 7.000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada during the wake of 9/11, and the small Newfoundland community that invited these “Come from Aways” into their lives with open hearts.

Bring Along a Baby is an informal, relaxed, accessible chamber music recital of the highest standard, aimed primarily at parents, while babies or very young children sleep, feed and play.

There is no pressure to keep still or quiet, leaving parents free to sit back and enjoy the music. In fact, we encourage the babies to interact naturally with the music, and we have play mats and soft toys to this end.

Speaking about the upcoming shows in Belfast and Dublin, Rachel Tucker said: “I am absolutely delighted beyond words to be on tour and kicking it off and what better plan than where it all began for me! I am thrilled to be at the brilliant Mac Theatre for two shows, and my first time performing my solo show in Dublin, I cannot wait to spend time at and sing on my home turf.This album has captured the true essence via songs and music of what home means to me. It took me a while to figure it out, but for me this album says it all!”

Rachel Tucker is an Olivier Nominated Actress who most recently starred inSunset Boulevardat the Savoy Theatre in London playing the lead role of Norma Desmond alongside Nicole Scherzinger. Prior to that, she starred inCome From Awayat the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Broadway, playing the role of Annette/Beverley Bass, the role she originated in London. Rachel received an Olivier Nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical at the 2019 Olivier Awards and she won Best Supporting Actress in a Musical at the 2020 WhatsOnStage Awards for her performance of this role.
