Jason Statham's latest Hollywood blockbuster remains a big hit on Amazon despite dropping earlier this year - but although much of the film is based in the U.S., many of the scenes were actually filmed in the UK.

The Beekeeper, which was released on Amazon Prime Video UK on January 12,follows Adam Clay (Jason Statham), a former operative of a secret organisation known as The Beekeepers.

After his friend falls victim to scamming by a phishing company, the heroic beekeeper sets out to exact revenge.

Directed by Suicide Squad's David Ayer, the film also starsJosh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) as Derek Danforth, Jeremy Irons (Waterland 1992) as Wallace Westwyld and EmmyRaver-Lampman (The Umbrella Academy) as Agent Verona Parker.

Some of the action-packed thriller's most notable scenes were filmed in locations across Kent and London, including in a Grade II listed 16th century farmhouse and on an iconic bridge that has previously appeared in various films.

Kingsferry Bridge, Isle of Sheppey, Kent

Filming took place on the Kingsferry Bridge for the confrontation scene between Adam Clay and Mickey Garnett (David Witts), which leads to Garnett being tied to a truck and thrown into the murky waters of the Swale Estuary below.

The 56-year-old British actor was seen a top of the structure as crew members shut the Kingsferry Bridge for 48 hours in October 2022 so they could film the action shots.

The Kingsferry Bridge serves dually as a road and railway bridge that links the Isle of Sheppey to mainland Kent.

However, the bridge isn't used regularly since the new Sheppey Crossing was built next to it, therefore it can be closed occasionally for filming.

The bridge has featured in a number of films, including: Too Close (2021), Kiss Me First (2018) and in Series 26 of Silent Witness (2023), as reported by Kent Film Office.

Castle Farm & Lower Austin Lodge, Kent

Production visited Kent to film at Castle Farm and Lower Aston Lodge, which doubles for Eloise Parker's (Phylicia Rashad) cottage and land where Adam Clay houses his bees.

Lower Aston Lodge is a Grade II listed 16th century farmhouse and a popular filming location situated in a picturesque, unspoilt farmyard nestled within a valley of trees.

The historic property is part of the Castle Farm estate - a sprawling site with 1,200 acres of land, lavender fields, hop gardens, apple orchards, bluebell woodlands and meadows.

It is particularly popular for music videos and photoshoots, but it has also played host to Road Games (2016).

Tyringham Hall, near Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes

Filming took place in Tyringham, near Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes, in October 2022 at Tyringham Hall - a privately owned 18th century stately home in the village.

The historic estate is featured in The Beekeeper as an American embassy, and an American flag could be seen waving from the home as film crews and helicopters surrounded the site, according to Edinburgh News.

Tyringham Hall has been the location for several films and series in the past, including Killing Eve, starring Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh, and Gambit, featuring Cameron Diaz, Alan Rickman and Colin Firth.

A location on Jermyn Street in Westminster, London, was featured in the film as a Boston-based, high-tech call centre inhabited by antagonist Derek Danforth (Josh Hutcherson).

The actor was was spotted on the streets of London in November 2022 as he continued filming scenes for The Beekeeper.

Stathamwas dressed by the wardrobe in a blue and black flannel shirt and a pair of blue denim jeans as he was surrounded by fellow actors playing members of the FBI.
